15 Years of Britney Spears

Britney Spears is one of the most recognizable figures in popular music, and she has been for a number of years.  In fact, it’s been precisely a decade and a half since she experienced her first pop music success, as exactly 15 years ago Spears’ very first single, “… Baby One More Time,” hit number 1 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.  “…Baby One More Time” spent two weeks at the top spot, and it was the first of five number 1 singles, including her appearance as a featured artist on Rihanna’s “S&M (Remix),” that Spears has enjoyed in her career.
