25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Ace of Base “The Sign”

Gothenburg, Sweden-based group Ace of Base made eight appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with seven of those songs hitting the Top 40 and four reaching the Top 10. The group’s biggest hit was their only number one hit, which came with their second song to appear on the chart, “The Sign.” Exactly 25 years ago, “The Sign” climbed to the top of the chart for the first of six weeks at number one.
