25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Alias “More Than Words Can Say”
In the late 1980s, former members of Sheriff came together with former members of Heart to form the band Alias. In June of 1990, Alias released their self-titled debut album, which would produce their only two Top 40 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The second of those hits, “Waiting For Love,” peaked at number 13 in the spring of 1991, following the band’s biggest hit, “More Than Words Can Say,” which exactly 25 years ago rose to a peak position of number 2, where it would spend one week.
