California-born singer A’Me Lorain has appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice, with two consecutive singles in 1990. The second of those singles, “Follow My Heartbeat,” peaked at number 72 as a followup to the Top 10 success of her first charting single, “Whole Wide World,” a song from the 1989 film True Love.
