Former New Edition members Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe came together in 1990 to form the group Bell Biv Devoe, which would appear on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart seven times, with six of those singles reaching the Top 40. Their most successful single was their first single, “Poison,” which exactly 25 years ago was in the midst of a four week run at a peak position of number 3.
