San Diego-based band Big Mountain hit the Top 40 with one of the four songs they placed on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 25 years ago, that song — a remake of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way” that appeared on the soundtrack to the film Reality Bites — rose to a peak position of number 6.
