25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Bonnie Raitt “Have A Heart”
Though California-born musician Bonnie Raitt appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart as early as the late 1970s, she didn’t ht the Top 40 until 1991, when “Something To Talk About” reached the Top 5. Before the decade had ended, Raitt would collect four more top 40 hits as well. In early 1990, Raitt came close to reaching the Top 40 for the first time, as her song “Have A Heart,” from the film Heart Condition, reached a peak position of number 49. Exactly 25 years ago, “Have A Heart” was rising to that peak position for a one-week stay.
