25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Jane Child “Don’t Wanna Fall In Love”

Toronto-born musician Jane Child has hit Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart twice, with two consecutive singles from her self-titled album released in 1989. The second of those two singles, “Welcome To The Real World,” peaked at number 49 in the summer of 1990, following up her much bigger hit, “Don’t Wanna Fall In Love,” which exactly 25 years ago was in the midst of a three-week run at number 2.
