25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Jodeci “Lately”
Charlotte-based group Jodeci made eleven appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all in the 1990s. Of those eleven songs, eight hit the Top 40 and one reached the Top 10. Exactly 25 years ago, that one Top 10 hit — a version of their song “Lately” from MTV’s Unplugged — rose to a peak position of number 4.
