In 1992, Madonna starred alongside lead actors Geena Davis and Tom Hanks in the film A League of Their Own. In addition to appearing in the film, Madonna contributed the song “This Used to Be My Playground,” and exactly 25 years ago, “This Used to Be My Playground” rose to number one for a one-week stay at the top of Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.
