25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Paul Young “Oh Girl”

British musician Paul Young scored his biggest hit in 1985, when “Every Time You Go Away” spent one week at number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Just over five years later, in the fall of 1990, Young reached the Top 10 for a second time. Exactly 25 years ago, Young’s version of the Chi-Lites’ “Oh Girl” was climbing to a peak position of number 8, where it would spend one week.
