25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Shaquille O’Neal “(I Know I Got) Skillz”

In the 1990s, basketball star Shaquille O’Neal tried his hand at a pop music career, releasing four albums between 1993 and 1998. Five songs from that set of albums made appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with one of those songs reaching the Top 40. Exactly 25 years ago, that one Top 40 hit, “(I Know I Got) Skillz,” was in its fifth and final week at a peak position of number 35.
