Atlanta-based duo Tag Team made three appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, all in the mid-1990s. Just one of those three songs reached the Top 40, and exactly 25 years ago, that song — “Whoomp! (There It Is)” — climbed to a peak position of number 2, where it would spend seven weeks.
