Edinburgh, Scotland-born twins Craig and Charlie Reid, who record as The Proclaimers, have made just one appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. However, that one song, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” which gained popularity from its use in the 1993 film Benny & Joon, reached the Top 5. Exactly 25 years ago, “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles),” rose to a peak position of number 3.
