25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Warren G & Nate Dogg “Regulate”

Long Beach-born musician Warren G made seven appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with six of those songs hitting the Top 40 and two reaching the Top 10. His biggest hit came with his first appearance, “Regulate,” which also features fellow Long Beach native Nate Dogg and comes from the 1994 film Above the Rim. Exactly 25 years ago, “Regulate” climbed to a peak position of number 2, where it would spend three weeks.
