Exactly 30 years ago today, California-based band Tommy Tutone peaked at number four for the first of three weeks on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with their biggest hit, “867-5309/Jenny.”  While the band is most known for “867-5309,” it was actually their second top 40 hit, following “Angel Say No,” which hit number 38.
