DEF: Divine “You Think You’re A Man”

Yesterday would have marked the 70th birthday of Baltimore-born performer Harris Glenn Milstead, who is more commonly known as Divine and who passed away in March of 1988 at the age of 42. Divine never made Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, though he did appear on the U.S. dance chart a couple times, and a number of his singles reached the Top 40 in other countries. To commemorate Divine’s 70th birthday yesterday, today’s Daily Eighties Flashback features his biggest hit in the U.K. and Australia, “You Think You’re A Man.”
