DEF: Mr. Mister “Broken Wings”
Los Angeles-based band Mr. Mister reached the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with four of the five singles they placed on the chart. Two of those singles — “Broken Wings” and “Kyrie” — climbed to number one, where each would spend two weeks. Exactly 30 years ago, “Broken Wings” took its final step to the top, and to commemorate that anniversary, Mr. Mister’s first number one single is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
