Newark, New Jersey-based group The Four Seasons hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart 15 time, ranging from their number one hit “Sherry” in 1962 through another number one hit, “December, 1963 (Oh, What A Night),” in 1976. Exactly 50 years ago, the group’s ninth Top 10 hit — “Let’s Hang On!” — climbed to its peak position of number 3, where it would spend one week.
