DEF: Supertramp “It’s Raining Again”
London-based band Supertramp hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart six times in their career, including a run of five straight charting singles between 1977 and 1980. After missing the Top 40 with “Breakfast in America” in 1980, the band’s next charting single — “It’s Raining Again” — returned them to the Top 20 for one final time a couple years later. On this date in 1982, “It’s Raining Again” climbed to a peak position of number 11, where it would spend four weeks. Today, “It’s Raining Again” by Supertramp is the Daily Eighties Flashback.
