DEF: Eddie Murphy “Party All The Time”

In the 1980s Brooklyn-born actor and comedian Eddie Murphy tried his hand at a singing career. In that career, Murphy released three albums, from which two singles appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with both reaching the Top 40. Murphy’s most successful single was his first one to reach the chart, and exactly 30 years ago, that song — “Party All The Time” — climbed to a peak position of number 2, where it would spend three weeks. In commemoration of that anniversary, “Party All The Time” by Eddie Murphy is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
