DEF: The Chicago Bears Shufflin’ Crew “Superbowl Shuffle”
Yesterday, the National Football League celebrated the 50th Super Bowl. Among the most dominant Super Bowl champions in the history of the game are the 1985-86 Chicago Bears, who lost only one game all season and then dominated the New England Patriots to win the first Super Bowl in franchise history. In addition to their excellence on the field, the 1985-86 Bears are remembered for producing a song called “Superbowl Shuffle” and an accompanying video. Exactly 30 years ago, a little less than two weeks after the team won the Super Bowl title, “Superbowl Shuffle” reached a peak position of number 41, where it would spend two weeks. In commemoration of that anniversary, “Superbowl Shuffle” by The Chicago Bears Shufflin’ Crew” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
