DEF: Eddie Rabbitt “I Love A Rainy Night”

Brooklyn, New York-born musician Eddie Rabbitt appeared on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart fourteen times, with eight of those songs reaching the Top 40 and four climbing to the Top 10. Among all of those appearances, Rabbitt’s biggest hit was his only chart-topping hit, “I Love A Rainy Night,” which exactly 35 years ago rose to number one for a two-week stay. In commemoration of that anniversary, “I Love A Rainy Night” is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
