Chicago-based band Styx have hit the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart eight times. The first seven of those hits charted between 1975, when “Lady” reached number 6, and 1983, when “Don’t Let It End” also reached number 6. Nearly eight years after “Don’t Let It End,” Styx earned its eighth Top 10 hit with “Show Me The Way.” Exactly 25 years ago, Styx’s “Show Me The Way” rose to a peak position of number 3, where it would spend one week.
