Among all of their hits, The Righteous Brothers‘ reached number one twice. They topped the chart for the first time with “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin'” in February 1965. Then, a little over a year later, and exactly 50 years ago, the duo rose to number one for a second time when “(You’re My) Soul and Inspiration” climbed to the top for a three-week stay.
