Muhammad Ali 1942-2016

As you likely know already, boxer and activist Muhammad Ali passed away Friday at the age of 74. You may not know, though, that in 1963, while still Cassius Clay, he released an album of largely spoken-word selections titled I Am the Greatest. The album contained a version of the song “Stand By Me” that Clay sung and that bubbled under Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for a few weeks that year, ultimately rising to number 102.
