25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Bryan Adams “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You”
Since first appearing on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in 1982, Ontario, Canada-born musician Bryan Adams has amassed twenty-two Top 40 hits, with eleven of those songs reaching the Top 10 and four hitting number one. Amid all of that success, Adams’ biggest hit is the song that dominated pop music in 1991, “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You),” from the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Exactly 25 years ago, “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You” climbed to number one, where it would remain for seven weeks.
