After leaving the band Chicago in 1986 to pursue a solo career, Peter Cetera hit number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with his first two singles. The first of those chart-topping hits was “Glory of Love” from the film The Karate Kid Part II. Exactly 30 years ago, “Glory of Love” climbed to number one for a two-week reign.
