DEF: Dragon “Rain”

Between 1976 and 1990, Auckland, New Zealand-based band Dragon made twenty-two appearances on the Australian pop chart, with six of those songs hitting the chart in their home country as well. The band made just one appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart in the United States, and that appearance came with their song “Rain,” which on this date in 1984 climbed to a peak position of number 88. “Rain” by Dragon is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
