DEF: Don Johnson “Heartbeat”

In the mid-to-late 1980s Missouri-born actor Don Johnson tried his hand at a pop music career, releasing an album in 1986 and another in 1989. That singing career spawned three appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, with two of those songs reaching the Top 40. Johnson’s biggest hit was hit first hit and his only Top 10 hit, “Heartbeat,” which exactly 30 years ago climbed to a peak position of number 5.
