DEF: 38 Special “Teacher Teacher”
Between 1982 and 1986, Jacksonville-based band 38 Special hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with six straight charting singles. The fifth of those songs, “Teacher Teacher,” came from the 1984 film Teachers. On this date that year, “Teacher Teacher” climbed to a peak position of number 25.
