DEF: Ray, Goodman & Brown “Special Lady”

Between 1968 and 1975, New Jersey-based trio The Moments made eleven appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, most successfully with “Love on a Two-Way Street,” which reached number 3 in 1970. The biggest hit of the three was the first, “Special Lady,” which on this date in 1980 climbed to a peak position of number 5. “Special Lady” by Ray, Goodman & Brown is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
