India-born British singer Engelbert Humperdinck has made 23 appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, spanning from 1967 to 1983. Nine of those songs reached the Top 40 and two hit the Top 10. His biggest hit was his first charting single, “Release Me (And Let Me Love Again),” which exactly 50 years ago climbed to a peak position of number 4.
