25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Sir Mix-A-Lot “Baby Got Back”
Seattle-born rapper Sir Mix-A-Lot has made three appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, only one of which made the Top 40. That one song, though, was the colossal hit “Baby Got Back.” Exactly 25 years ago, “Baby Got Back” rose to the top of the chart to begin a five-week stay at number one.
