After Katy Perry reached the Top 3 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with six songs from her 2010 album Teenage Dream, five of which hit number one, Perry reissued the album with newly added material as Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection in 2012. The reissue produced two more hits that made the Top 2. First, “Part of Me” reached number one, and then exactly five years ago, “Wide Awake” rose to a peak position of number 2.
