Glen Campbell 1936-2017
As you likely know, Glen Campbell passed away a week ago at the age of 81. As a famous country artist who had considerable success crossing over to the pop chart, Campbell made thirty-seven appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Twenty-one of those songs reached the Top 40, and five made the top 10. Campbell’s biggest hit came in 1975 with “Rhinestone Cowboy,” which spent two weeks at number one.
