25 Years Ago in the Nineties: The Heights “How Do You Talk to an Angel”

In August 1992, the television show The Heights, a fictional series about a rock band searching for success, debuted on FOX. The show only lasted thirteen episodes, the last of which didn’t even air; however, that lack of success didn’t stop the fictional band from scoring a real-life number one single. Exactly 25 years ago, the song “How Do You Talk to an Angel” featuring the band from the show, climbed to number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart for a two-week reign.
