Over a period of nearly two decades, from 1965 to 1983, The Who made twenty-six appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Only once, though, did the band reach the Top 10. That happened exactly 50 years ago, when “I Can See for Miles” rose to number 10 on its way to a peak position of number 9.
