In addition to its tremendous commercial success and lasting popularity, the 1987 film Dirty Dancing produced three Top 10 hits on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. The biggest hit of the three was the song from the iconic ending of the film, Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes‘ “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life,” which exactly 30 years ago climbed to number one for a one-week reign.
