25 Years Ago in the Nineties: Boyz II Men “In the Still of the Nite (I’ll Remember)”

Having reached superstar status with a series of Top 10 hits starting in 1991, Boyz II Men contributed a remake of The Five Satins’ “In the Still of the Night” titled “In the Still of the Nite (I’ll Remember)” to the soundtrack for the television mini-series The Jacksons: An American Dream. The song was released as a single, and exactly 25 years ago it climbed to a peak position of number 3 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart.
