James Ingram 1952-2019
News has been circulating today that James Ingram has passed away at the age of 66.
As a pop music artist, Ingram enjoyed his greatest success between 1981 and 1990, when he hit the Top 40 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart seven times. All seven of those songs reached the Top 20, with three cracking the Top 10. His biggest hit is the first of his two chart-topping hits, the duet “Baby, Come to Me” with Patti Austin that spent two weeks at number one in 1983.
