DEF: Gamma “I’m Alive”

After the breakup of his band Montrose in the late 1970s, guitarist Ronnie Montrose put together the band Gamma that would release four albums. Two of Gamma’s songs made appearances on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart, the first of which — “I’m Alive” — climbed to a peak position of number 60 on this date in 1980. “I’m Alive” by Gamma is today’s Daily Eighties Flashback.
