It’s Already Been Five Years: Idina Menzel “Let It Go”
For the 2013 Disney animated film Frozen, Broadway star Idina Menzel voiced the character Elsa. As part of that role, Menzel sang the song “Let It Go,” which would win an Academy Award for Best Original Song at the 2014 Oscars. The song would also become Menzel’s only Top 10 hit on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly five years ago, “Let It Go” climbed to a peak position of number 5.
