Two songs from Bon Jovi‘s 1988 album New Jersey reached number one on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart. Exactly 30 years ago, the second of that pair of chart-topping hits, “I’ll Be There for You,” climbed to the pinnacle position for a one-week reign.
