Birthday of the Week: Rick Springfield

This week’s Birthday of the Week is Sydney, Australia-born actor and musician Rick Springfield. Springfield is, of course, known for his string of hits in the 1980s that included reaching the Top 10 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart five times. On Friday (August 23), Springfield turns 70.

In honor of his milestone, what’s your favorite song by Rick Springfield? Though it feels like a cop out because it’s his biggest hit, I really do have to go with “Jessie’s Girl” as my favorite.
