DEF: Danny Elfman “Theme from The Simpsons”
The Simpsons first aired as a short during The Tracey Ullman Show in April 1987. Two and a half years later, the FOX network gave the family from Springfield their own television show, and the rest is history, as The Simpsons is the longest-running scripted primetime television show in U.S. history. Exactly 30 years ago today, The Simpsons debuted, along with its memorable theme music, which was written by Danny Elfman.
