Ta Mara & The Seen made their only appearance on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with the song “Everybody Dance” from their self-titled debut album. While it didn’t reach the Hot 100, another song from that album, “Affection,” hit the Top 20 on Billboard‘s R&B chart. On this date in 1986, “Affection” climbed to a peak position of number 19.
