Johnny Mathis and Deniece Williams teamed up in 1978 to hit number one with “Too Much, Too Little, Too Late” and also reach Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart with “You’re All I Need to Get By.” Six years later, the two singers paired up again for “Love Won’t Let Me Wait.” This song, though, only reached the Bubbling Under chart, making its debut on that chart on this date in 1984.
