Alan Merrill of The Arrows passed away on Sunday at the age of 69. To honor Merrill, let us know your most vivid memories involving The Arrows.

I don’t have a particular memory specific to The Arrows, but I remember that the guy who used to DJ middle-school dances in my hometown when I was growing up in the 1980s would often mention that “I Love Rock ‘N Roll” was his favorite song, just before launching into Joan Jett and The Blackhearts’ version of the tune.
