Happy 30th Birthday to Josh Groban

While he’s never charted higher than number 63 on the pop charts, Josh Groban has scored five Number 1 singles on Billboard‘s Adult Contemporary chart, and all five of his studio albums have hit the Top Ten, including two chart-toppers.  Today, Josh Groban, featured above singing one of his biggest hits, “You Raise Me Up,” turns 30.  In another decade — say like the 1980s — when popular radio was arguably not as fragmented, might Groban have achieved more success on the Hot 100 chart and not just the Adult Contemporary chart?
